You go to beach and go into the ocean. You find a fish in there and you try to catch it. As soon as you catch it, you see a piece of plastic sticking out of its mouth. When you try to pull it, It’s stuck in there. Plastic bags are brutal to animals. In my opinion, plastic bags should be banned.
One reason is that plastic bags are harmful to animals. Plastic bags might get eaten by the poor animals. They can block the digestive tract which cause animals to slowly, painfully die. Plastic bags also can be wrapped around some animals.
The second reason is that the plastic bags might be in our food chain. When animals eat it, we eat the animals with plastic in them. We become unhealthy when there is plastic bag chemicals in us.
The third reason is that these plastic bags are harmful to our environment. They are not biodegradable. They fill up the land and makes things worse. They also digest and seep into land.
For these reason, I think plastic bags should be banned. Plastic bags get eaten by animals and get stuck in them. Also plastic bags might be in our food chain. These plastic bags are very harmful to our environment. So If you care for earth, you care to ban plastic bags.
